About Us

The Yucaipa Iris Festival Association promotes the Iris as the official flower of the City of Yucaipa.

We do this by creating community awareness about the Iris as a symbol of hardiness, diversity and beauty; just like the City of Yucaipa.

We sponsor educational programs about the Iris for people of all ages and backgrounds and promote and encourage horticultural activities and community events centered around the Iris.

We promote the use of the Iris in architectural designs and commercial, residential, industrial, and public landscaping within the City of Yucaipa, always recognizing the Iris for its beautiful colors and strength.

All our activities come together in an annual celebration of the Iris when we present the Yucaipa Iris Festival in the spring, a community tradition since 2002.
