Yucaipa Iris Festival Association Membership Application
Statement of Club Intent and Purpose:

Membership in the Yucaipa Iris Festival Association shall be comprised of individuals dedicated to the idea of showcasing Yucaipa’s pride in itself by promoting the Iris as the city flower.

We shall accomplish this by:
1.    Creating a community awareness about the Iris as a symbol of our city’s hardiness, diversity, and beauty.
2.    Sponsoring education about the Iris for people of all ages and backgrounds.
3.    Bringing young and old together by promoting horticultural activities and community events centered around the Iris.
4.    Whenever possible, promoting and encouraging the use of the Iris in architectural     designs and commercial, residential, industrial, and public landscaping.

The Iris is a hearty flower of beauty and color.  Promoting the Iris is our promise of maintaining a community rich in color and horticulture.

The Association shall be non-commercial, non-sectarian, and non-partisan.  Formed in May 2001, the Association members participate in all Association related activities to include the annual Yucaipa Iris Festival.

Members should be a person of good character, fellowship, and sportsmanship;  and an upstanding citizen with a willingness to actively participate in Association activities and business meetings.

All applicants must complete a Membership Application and be introduced to the Board of Directors at the next regular business meeting.
